This is one of the 151 serial number prefix stainless GA-34 Security Six revolvers built on the old frame generally associated with the 150 prefix. Excellent near-new condition, has an unusual set of heavy synthetic grip panels with factory medallions and a lined presentation case with blank placard. There is an empty depression in the case cut to fit a larger set of target stocks. The new (high back) frame appeared in the blue guns in the upper end of the 150 prefix but the old frame (low back) spilled over into the 151 prefix in the stainless, presumably due to casting the first batch of new frames in chrome-moly steel prior to doing the first run of stainless new frames. Caliber is .357 Mag, the barrel is 4", pre-warning gun likely made in 1974 with the early grooved trigger.
