I just decided to put something up on the block, and a buddy had first dibs on it. I told him to just give me something of similar value and he offered up this one. He said it's either a 1952 or 1953 S which is an early 5 screw pre model 27 N frame from before they even came out with the model numbers in 1957 or 1958. This one has been in and out of the holster plenty and no doubt has been shot plenty knowing it's previous owner, but has been well taken care of and is in excellent mechanical conditon. Lockup is great. I'm looking for $1000 shipped and am also open to talking trades on other quality firearms. I have absolutely no interest in plastic guns or low end firearms. If there are any Smith experts or close enough to fudge the title expert, any knowledge on this one is welcome :D
