My friendship with Dixie Boy is based on mutual likes and dislikes of a myriad of things.

...but my lack of respect for AA/Ramshot is a personal one with no prior input from any of this current subject and Dixie Boy in particular.

It seems that for at least 10 years you can only buy AA (same distributor) products locally in my area from the biggest bunch of dipsticks that have ever owned or operated a gunshop. This is not some recent thing based on being aggravated at lack of reloading supplies as of late. It has been going on for at least 10 years. I use AA#7 in several loads and will drive about 100 miles to get it at an establishment that doesn't mark it up 300% to 500% compared to the prices of these far off places. The local sales rep for this company should not be fired, he should be drawn and quartered at the next Shot Show. This moron has probably cost the company he represents thousands upon thousands of dollars a year. My guess is this moron rep made a deal with this crap gunshop and got some form of favor to keep things the same as they have always been. You can find some Ramshot, not much selection, at Cabelas but that's about it and it has been that way for many years. I live in a huge metropolitan area, a very large bullet maker that I know said we are the largest buyer's market of any area in the whole damn country. So this singer, blogger, songwriter and shill might serve his friends far better by telling them their marketing and salesupport isn't bad, it's flippin' dead.

I doubt this is very unusual. Remember this saying? ...It's their business and they can run it the way they want to. In my area you can't even find reloading supplies anymore and if you drive many miles to find some, you find way over-priced reloading supplies. I just take my business elsewhere. I just order my supplies online. Simple as that.

...DixieBoy as usual you are way over the top and eager to insult people. I do hope we meet sometime because I need to tell you what I think of you and your 'village idiot' moniker of me especially in this section.

...I can't remember much said about True Blue from anyone, guess I read the wrong threads, so if liking something means we should put out disclaimers, then most of us have a whole lot of explaining to do. ...and you (DB) might consider instead of lecturing and attacking someone like you did 57K you might just ask a question the way normal people do when they are not sure about something. You do not speak for the majority of people on this forum. :D

so what is the problem with 57K being an inside man to the powder that he is referring to?

All it is, is a reference for people who might be interested in trying it, nothing more. As far as the powder goes, all an experienced handloader needs to know is where it stands on the burning rate table(s) and with a good chronograph and a goodly amount of experience, he will find out for himself whether it is the ne plus ultra of gun powders or not. 8)

I am looking to replace my BlueDot sometime in the future and I will definitely be looking at True Blue or Accurate #7 when the time comes. Wish I could say I have read your articles but not yet.

Where the hell can I get True Blue, or Silouette, or Enforcer anyway? I am about to find out how old pull down 4831 (probably) works in 38 Special loads........
