The metal work has seen better days. Blueing has browned out and there are dark spots throughout. No serious pitting or bare spots. Guessing a good film of surface rust was cleaned off at some point. Lockwork is fully functionally. Bore has a few small dark spots but no pitting I can see or feel with a cleaning rod and patch. Wood is decent put could use a cleaning minimal handling marks and the brass is tarnished. Thinking this may of hung over a fire place would account for the overall appearance. Should cleanup fairly well and be a very usable piece. I have not shot it. Not the original owner don't know any history. $285.00 shipped.Sold as is based on accurate description and photos. Can email more photos.

Lapping the barrel will significantly improve accuracy and loading.

Mine shoots best with patch and ball. Enjoy, Great frontsuffer. ps
