Recently purchased a nice super Blackhawk off here (4 5/8, so smaller grip), and have come to the realization that the grip frame is simply too small for my paws. I'm looking for a Ruger in 44 magnum. Redhawk, Super Redhawk, or Bisley frame Blackhawk would work. I prefer stainless, but would consider blued. I prefer 5.5" or shorter barrels, but would consider longer. Good honest wear is fine, not needing safe queens. Let me know if you have something that would fit the bill. Thanks.

Duckman, I have a set of grip for your Super Blackhawk that could solve your small grip problem. They are Herrett oversized, THEY are BIG. Fit the square backed trigger guard so I am not sure if they will fit your frame.

I would sell cheap, $15 shipped. If interested, let me know.

If you decide to sell your Ruger, let me know...I have been looking for a .44 with a 4 5/8" barrel...

Mine is the round trigger guard, so those grips won't help. I really dislike the plow handle grip honestly. I'm wanting to try something different.

I used to feel the same way until I tried the Pachmayr presentation grips, same ones that come on the BFR's. They arent much to look at but they sure make a difference in recoil management and over fit of the plow handle for me. Just another option.

I have a Ruger Vaquero Bisley in 44 Magnum I traded for last weekend and don't plan on keeping as I just found what I was looking for. A Vaquero Bisley Convertible in 357/9mm. I can send you photos if of interest. By the this revolver appears to NIB and is in the bright stainless finish. PM me at csnider with your email or phone number to send the photos.

Thanks,
csnider
