Well,
In the Early 70s a Gas Station owner a block from our house, this was when they were full service and fixed stuff, was broken into several times. So he got a watch cat. He would put the cat that was in it's cage out front of the station during the day. At night he would turn the watch Cat loose in the station. He was kind enough to post signs "Beware of Cat"

The watch cat was a pretty good size Cougar/Mountain Lion. No more break ins :wink:
