So I finally got my sr9c! went yesterday, the shop was having a sale, so I got the gun for a discounted price, a free third mag, and a free cleaning kit! She looks and feels amazing, I also bought a blackhawk tuckable holster, and she conceals real well! She does have a few little chips around the barrel but she's my carry gun so I am not worried. Hoping to get her out today, Ill keep yall posted and as soon as I feel like dealing with image hosting ill get some pics up with her and the p345.

Congrats on the purchase!

If your ever concerned about those chips in the muzzle end of the slide you can call Ruger and they will take care of it for you. They will replace the slide to fix it at no cost.

Hope you enjoy the SR9c.

Well i put 50 rounds of blazers and 10 Remington JHP through her and wow! We were just shooting some cans but 9 of my first 10 at at 15 yards were dead on! I was amazed she performed fantastic and was a great investment!

I wonder why they didnt make a smaller 345?

I own the SR9, and love it. I own two 1911's, a glock, bunch of revolvers. I wasnt sure about the 9mm but I really liked the feel of the SR9.

My co workers bought it for me as a gift.

Yea the sale deal pretty much made the decision for me! See I honestly feel that the p345 is perfect, easily one of the most comfortable guns ive held, more accurate than I am by far, not horrific with recoil, and super reliable. I feel like messing with the size may not be a good idea, but Ruger should make a compact .45, It just may have gnarly recoil if its polymer....
