Yes, all tactical aircraft in the ETO carried them, including gliders. They didn't put them on the B-17s and B-24 because the Germans weren't operating anything like them.jimbo1096 said:Snake45 said:Very cool, Bob.

I believe the white bars painted on the wings were also there to ID the invasion planes as Allied forces and to help the ground crews know not to fire on them.
