Is the frame on an old model super blackhawk square trigger guard the same as a new model superblackhawk square trigger guard?

The Old Models and early New Models share "fit" dimensions. Things began to change after Ruger "adjusted" things to make the Bisleys more "universal" with respect to "any grip frame fitting any cylinder frame".

So, even though one can "adapt" a NM grip frame to function on a OM cylinder frame the appearance of such a swap may indicate some serious fitting to be performed to make it "right".

One thing I've noticed about the Super grip frames. (OM vs NM.) I have a few that the stocks don't fit on easily or at all. Slight differences in something to where I check the stocks before any swapping happens. OM stocks don't always fit on NM gripframes.
