Strange chips on LC9

Hello all,

I went to the range about a month ago, went through about 100 rounds, went home and cleaned my LC9 well. I didn't see anything wrong with it. I loaded it back up, chambered a round, and carried it around. I decided to clean it again and lubricated it when I found this. What do you guys make of it?

Looks like wear on the aluminum insert.

Mine has the same amount after 500 rounds..

If i can figure out how to post a picture i will.

Just took mine apart and shot some pics, looks just like yours.

Mine has identical wear marks. Nothing to worry about.

The chips are not deep at all, almost seems like its just the paint coming off. Thanks for your information guys.
