I sent my SR9c back to Ruger to fix the (17 rd mag) trigger reset issue and I don't have a clue what their track record is on returning pistols. Been 2 weeks today. :( No word yet. Never had to send one back I'm pissed.

Give them a call and ask for an update (politely). Unless they're having issues fixing your pistol, it shouldn't take more than a week, week and a half.

You should be getting it back this week. Their turn around time is usually 2-3 weeks. When I sent my early model LCP in, I got it back in 10 days.

Don't be surprised if you get a free magazine for your troubles. Ruger service is good.

I agree to give them a call - I had my SR9 sent in a while back, and a polite "just checking in" call got it off of a mis-marked shelf and back to me a week sooner than it would have been. They apologized profusely and got it to me within a couple days after that call. It would have been about 1 1/2 weeks without the call

Thats the best thing to do its gets it to their attention.

Still no SR9c - called tuesday said they couldn't find it but would call since they thought the tech had it at the range. They never called back. I am getting the number memorized now.

They are suppoed to send you a notification when they receive it with the repair order number on it.

That is the best number to refer to when you inquire about it, that or the serial number on the gun.

I have just had 2 guns sent back and forth on Ruger's expense. They did not tell me at all when they received them or when they were coming back. I used the tracking number they gave me with the UPS label to see exactly when it arrived and who signed for it. Turn around time was exactly 3 weeks for each one.

I called today said it was still out with a Tech. would be ready next week mid week. So 5 weeks is my track record, if they are keeping their word.

My SR9C was sent back to Ruger through the retailer I purchased it from. Ruger has had mine for 6, yes 6 weeks tomorrow. I just e-mailed them today.

What was wrong with your gun?

My 9c went out on March 31. I will give them another week and then will call. Primary reason for return was a bad safety lever; made the thumb safety inoperable on the left side.

I received my SR9C back from Ruger today. It certainly was about time they sent it back. It has been 6 weeks yesterday since I returned mine. If I was guessing, I'd say they had misplaced it and when I e-mailed them a couple of days back, they happened to find it. Coincidence, huh ? They replaced mine with a brand new gun.

Sounds like they're up to their eyeballs in SR9C's....

Called again today. Ruger now said while test firing it, he said it had a few light stricks (I sent it in for trigger reset issues on 17 rd mag ) and he was going to work on it more to get 100% or replace it. crap. It was so accurate I hate for them to switch but I want 100% reliable first. I call back Thursday. :(

That didn't happen with my gun.
I sent it in on March 31, using their label. Got it back today. They did a good job, although only accomplished one of the three things I had sent it in for.
I'm not complaining; I'll do the other two things myself. It's still a very nice gun, that SR9c.

Much better to have it back 100% than have to send it back in next week.

My Pistol is on its way home today. Yea! I guess I will find out what they did when I get home tonight.
