SR9C Failure to Feed

Hi everybody - newbie here. I just got my first Ruger pistol, an SR9C, and am having failure to feed problems with it. The problem is that the striker isn't being reset when the slide is cycled and the new cartridge is getting hung up on the striker. From what I can see and infer from the parts sheet, it appears that the trigger bar is responsible for resetting the striker. Is that correct? If that is true, should the trigger bar be bent up at the back? Mine is almost completely flat.

ETA - I've taken it apart and cleaned it already. Twice.

If it is brand new, I would contact Ruger and have them fix it correctly.....

Strikers are packed with sticky grease, did you by chance clean it? There is a youtube video on it somewhere. I cleaned mine out but didn't have any issues.

Definitely call Ruger.
