SR762 Manufactue Dates

I have a question pertaining to SR762 problems. I have read that Ruger had problems with this rifle early in production, but later production models seem to be fine. Can anyone please tell me how I can determine when my new Ruger SR762 was manufactured? I haven't had an opportunity to fire it yet, so I don't yet know if it will perform properly or not. It came with two MAGPUL GEN3 magazines. Both have "green" forwards. I have read that these mags were part of the problem and the new MAGPUL GEN 3 mags with "black forwards" solved the problem. I notified Ruger of the missing magazine and they immediately shipped a replacement. It will arrive tomorrow, and I'll see whether it is "black" or "green" and if that makes a difference in testing. If anyone could provide me any feedback regarding their experiences, especially in determining the manufacturing date of the rifle I would greatlyappreciate it.
