Just had the chance to pick up my new SR40c!
I have not had the opportunity to run any round through her yet.
It was test fired on 06/24/11 so they are pushing them out quickly, I think.

Will post a pic later...

EDIT: My CT laser from my 9c fits perfectly and so does any holster I have for the 9c.
Lateck,

P.S. Feels just like the 9c, just a tad heavier..... Close my eyes and I can not tell the difference.

Congrats! Let us know how it shoots. I actually want one of those but it may be a while before I can do anything about it.

When I got my SR9c I noticed it certainly made it's way to my buddy's shop. The test fire date was 7 days prior to the day I bought it from his store.

nice, I got one yesterday myself. I hope to test fire it this weekend. I'll be unboxing and detail stripping it in a video for our youtube channel either tomorrow or Friday. A new camera to use so the audio will be good this time. Anyway Congrads on the score enjoy it you have a nice collection going!

07/14/11 I had a chance to take the 40c out and plink 40 rounds.
One can feel the sharper re-coil of the .40 round, compared to the 9c. Not bad but it is noticeable. For such a light gun it wasn't bad. A little less then my old Glock 22. :?

The site were on for around 20 yards but I was shooting at cans and plastic bottles. I'll take her to the indoor range this weekend.

Lateck,

Shoots great, very pleased, new carry for a while.

Is the trigger pull on the new SR40c just as smooth and crisp as the SR9c?
Hickok45 mentioned in his SR40c video that he thought it had a "grittier" trigger.
Do you agree/disagree?

I was so happy to see this gun in late June and I'm *SUPERHAPPY* they're legal for sale in MA. Ruger once again did a great job. It's my next purchase, period, end of contest.

Sorry I did not see this sooner.

Yes, the trigger was grittier (sort of) then my SR9c or SR40 at first.
It has been improving with each outing.... :D
