SR grip ?

Already you've seen differences of opinion, and that's just exactly why you've got a choice with the Ruger grip.

I happen to prefer the flat side.

I've shot my SR9 both ways and prefer the flat grip. To me, it's more comfortable and seems to help my accuracy.

I believe it has to do with the size of you're hands. I have very small hands, I am 5.5' tall or short, HA HA. The curved grip is to uncomfortable for my small hands. I use the flat very comfortable.

I agree with everybody here. I've tried both ways and the flat for my hands work better. I like the arched but for accuracy the flat, for me, is better.

I couldn't tell uch difference, and ended up putting a pachmayr slip-on rubber grip on it- I put a pachmayr grip-glove on the other carry pistol, the glove has a bulge in the center, and the rubber really gives you a good- grip...

I tried both on my SR9 and settled on the flat side. My 1911 has a flat mainspring housing so that's what I'm used to and it feels more "natural" on the SR9.

I also tried it both ways on my SR9c and it seemed to make little difference on this gun so I use the flat side just to be consistant.

For me the arched is better. Probable because I grew up shooting my Dad's smith and wesson model 39. SR9 grip with the arch is almost identical.

Arched side and a Talon rubber-texture wrap. I highly recommend the Talon wrap, fits perfectly and provides excellent grip!

My only complaint about the SR9c is the narrowness of the optional grip arch. Very uncomfortable imho.

Now that I know about Talon (thanks) I'm thinking of making a couple of spacers to widen the arch and cover with the Talon. Does the talon fit the added curve created by the arch?

It has a perforated piece that can stick right over the flat option. To use the arched option one tears along the perforated squared tab to allow for the arch to come through. Works very well; nice option either way.
