Yes, both have boxes and rings. 44 has black and yellow box and must be an early hunter since the gun info is written on the top of the box and not a label on end. I got the gun that way from previous owner. 41 mag in newer hard plastic Ruger box with external label on box. I checked the Ruger web site and the 41 mag was an exclusive offering through Davidsons.
