I have a 9MM cylinder for sale for a 357 Blackhawk. Not sure if old or new model.

Size is: Dia. 1.726"
OAL 1.825
Length of cylinder 1.595
Has a slight purple tint to the bluing. No turn line.

Is it a factory Ruger cyl?

The diameter jives with the New Model large frame 357 cyl range of 1.730",

But OAL should be in the 1.979" range, including ratchet on back and gas ring on front,
and the cyl body length in the 1.642" range.

Maybe this will help courtesy of Street.

With that measurement it looks as if it is for a new model.
