SPF: OM Super Single Six 5.5" Adj Sight, convert

Here is a non-prefixed model SC5 Super Single Six from about 1969. Convertible with both LR and WMR cylinders, 5.5" barrel. Has the red felt bag and most of the white box for the extra cylinder (two flaps missing from one end). The "Super" had the adjustable sights. This is one of the last batch with the non-prefixed serial number, made the same year Ruger started using the prefix. Not converted. Gun is in very nice condition with signs of light use. Does have the unusual wear noted on the right side of the rear sight, the frame just below that, and the top of the loading gate. Box has seen better days with the blowouts as shown but is correct. Manual is not present.

Interested. Don't care about box. Would probably replace rear sight with a Bowen. Do you think the wear on the frame/loading gate could be touched up with cold blue?

Yes, I believe it could be touched up nicely. The box is pretty rough but still has some value, so I would reduce the price 20 bucks if you don't want it.
