SPF MK II Govt model SPF

This .22 Cal. pistol is a Ruger Mk ll Government Target in excellent condition. No blue loss, no rust, no flaking, or holster wear. Bore is like new and the trigger is crisp with no creep. Priced to sell at $450.00 . I'm not a FFL dealer.

Very interesting front sight you have there; I've never seen it on a Mk II Government Target Model. Is it aftermarket?

I like it - the normal front sight is too thick and imprecise for really accurate shooting, such as for smallbore IHMSA Silhouette.

Looks like a rifle ramp front sight.

I think Pal_K nailed it. The previous owner had planned to shoot IHMSA Silhouette hence the sight change and nice trigger. I have NO paperwork to support this claim and chose to not adv as so. I will say its a great shooting MKII Govt ( I have owned many MK II ) and the sights are wonderful for target work.
Tough crowd here, you guys don't miss a thing...LOL
