For sale is a Walther PPK in .380 caliber imported by Interarms. It was shipped to Accurate Plating and Weaponry who tuned the action and matte hard chromed the gun ($400 in work). Comes with Hogue Handall Grip installed and two Walther flat bottom and four Walther finger groove. Also has a DeSantis model 74 right hand hip holster and Galco RG252 right hand inside the pants holster. The Handall, two holsters and four extra magazines is around $350. Just need ammo and you are set. In excellent shape, really looks new.

Must ship to an FFL and they must accept from a private person. Shipped is $700 and local pickup in Springfield, Virginia is $650. I accept cash, MO and personal checks. No trades or PayPal. Contact me with any questions.

OK, I'm confused. Since I'm probably not the only one... I'll ask!

You said, "Imported by Interarms." The pictures aren't super sharp so I can't read every line perfectly... but on the left side of the slide under the Walther banner... doesn't that say "Made in the USA?"

When I read Imported by Interarms, I thought that meant it was made in Germany or France... I'm no PP/PPK expert, don't own one to compare.

This is not the S&W model, but in fact the model imported by Interarms, who went out of business years ago. Parts are built in Europe and assembled in the USA and Interarms is the official importer. PPKs required assembly in the US to avoid the 68 gun law because the size of the PPK was not large enough to be imported assembled. Hope that helps.

Can you tell me what the dark spots are on the right side of the upper trigger guard?? Thanks.

Small pin point imperfections in the steel during the manufacture of the part. Many parts are cast, and probably passed inspection at the time. Once the chrome was applied, the imperfections could be seen. Does not affect the function of the gun.

Ok, I knew about the PPK and the 1968 GCA but I didn’t realize they imported the parts, built them here, and then engraved Made in the USA on the side. Thanks for explaining it.

I had APW hard chrome a S&W M28 years ago and it was amazing. They do great work.

Yes they do great work at APW. Only the PPK was assembled here as I understand it. Crazy gun laws. As for the pin marks, they are filled with chrome, but shadows during photographing make them stand out.

Nothing against the gun for sale here, but you're absolutely correct tulsamal: That gun was 100% made at the Ranger plant in Alabama. None of the parts were made in Germany. Every single part was made here in the US and assembled here in the US.
