If it is not in collectible grade, then by all means get it engraved. Why not.
we totally agree, it's YOUR gun, it's looking really nice, any improvement is good as well as its now worth even more............now, just what finish to have it done in....hhhmmmmmm 8) :roll: :wink:

Who was he the artist?
The reason I ask is it has been done in a style and amount that would have been done back in the day.
To me I would consider the amount & style appropriate for a Ruger.
When they get extra fancy, over done, newer looking, laser, ect. on a older Ruger it just doesn't work,,,,, for me :roll:

He's one of the master engravers for Smith and Wesson, for over 40 years....and a good friend of mine. He will do side work, but wishes not to have his name out there due to his S/W commitments....if you'd like, pm me your # and I'll call and fill you in, and his phone #.....Scott
