With ammo being scarce, when I found some .22 shorts at WM I snatched them up (3 box limit :( ).
Shot a bunch at the range with the wife after that, and they sounded almost like a cap gun going off, POP POP POP!
My wife loves shooting this gun so much I'm afraid she's gonna start calling it her own, and she really enjoyed shooting these
shorts!

Here's a pic of the shorts and longs, and another with my various .22 ammo scores recently at Wally World.
Quite a variety but the SP101 doesn't care it'll eat anything!

Have you done anything to the trigger, My wife does not like it because of the hard trigger pull

I installed Wolff springs and polished up the internals.
I used a 12# hammer spring and 8# trigger return spring
( if I remember correctly). Lots of dry firing too!

Yeah, those little 22 shorts are fun to shoot. Pretty accurate at 30 feet too; didn't seem to deviate much from the zero my sights have for the 22LR.

22 longs, which are occasionally plentiful right now, also work fine.
