Recently bought a SP 101 in .327 Federal magnum with the 4.2" barrel although I prefer a 3" am hoping to find a 3" and replace the original. Have contacted Ruger where there are none of the 3" available and appears that there may be none produced in the future, of course I am not sure of this, just guessing. All this to ask if anyone has a 3" barrel for sale or an SP 101 with the 3" they are ready to dispose of?

Keep searching, they show up occasionally but for much more money than the 4.2 inch models.
