Called Ruger's Serial Number History phone.
No longer giving serial number information from that line.
Called Ruger's Pistol Number.
Menu selection asks me to call the serial number history phone.
Website customer service history section shows numerical serials starting well beyond my serial number.

Just want to know if anyone can date this
MKII Government Target blue/plastic 6-7/8" bull adjustable rear sight fixed undercut front sight
serial 215-19xxx
I suspect the barrel/receiver has been changed/swapped?
Any info would be appreciated

Just received a call back from Ruger Pistol Tech support Josh
Gun is authentic and barrel/receiver are correct.
Manufacture date has been verified.

You could have tried Ruger's website. Look under "customer service", then "instruction manuals and product history", then "pistol", then "Mark II".

Looks like a 1989 production date to me.
