So... I have a few questions, please.
How hard and fast is that 300 number?
I wonder how many are accounted for?
Did all come with that presentation case?
The one I have is a 4 digit number and came to me several years ago via the family of the original purchaser.
There was no box, just the revolver. I didn't know until a few years later that i had a Long Frame. I'd never heard of one before.

I seriously doubt that there is an issue with timing. Rather, the ring is related to how the gun is cocked/decocked and "screwed with" when it is not going to be fired......... :shock:
same here, I agree, looks like a good ,honest 3 digit no less, LONG frame no less, Super , in the mahogany case, no less..........wow, and they were fighting over a 3 digit 357 flatop ,up into the $3000 plus range...yikes, wish I had the spare bucks, I'd buy this one,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,seen'em a LOT worse than this, and by a LONG stretch .................
that line wil appear quite easily with improper removal of the cylinder and mishandling the action,lockwork when "cycling" the action,short stroke it, never cock it all the back each and EVERY time, BINGO "line........."
I'll tell you what a very LITTLE bit of 'TLC' and this gun would look like a winner.............................can't tell one, eveything to do 8)

What are the odds of EVER finding a pair of grips for it, for less than an arm & a leg?
I have a set of grips for this, been holding them, hownding them waiting on a gun to put them on, this would be the one, but i got a new Cessna 180 (1953) on sunday, and IM BROKE!!! and the wifes mad too>

Wes, I received the revolver this morning. Condition to my eye is better than described. Nice gun, and mahogany case is in very nice condition! Thanks again for another great transaction!
