h bone said:In my opinion RR hit the nail on the head. Over many years of looking at hundreds of sets of Stags you sort know what came out of the Ruger Factory, they have a certain look to them. You can't always go by the staking or the placement of the Ruger Eagle. I have been told that they were done by different employees at different times, so it was not an exact science. Also the thickness of the grips determined the type of staking as well. But as always "BUYER BEWARE".
AMEN RR    :lol:radicalrod said:Just a note .....I would have been happy with these.....RR.
