Offered is a Marlin 1895G JM stamped guide gun in 45/70. This rifle was purchased new from Cabela's in 2007 and is in excellent condition with flawless bluing on both barrel and receiver. Very minor handling marks on stock while the forearm is unblemished. Factory pre drilled for scope. Package includes original box, lock, hammer extension and warranty card along with a very nice Hunter leather sling. No manual. This has been a family gun and only low velocity rounds have been fired through it. 305gr lead pushed by 16 grains of Unique.

My 1895M (.450 Marlin) has that short ported barrel. It is not a rifle you hunt with without good ear protection. It clears the snow off the roof of my truck though.
