SOLD: 'Interesting' early Mark-I T678 box

This is a Mark-I model T512 box that was marked up at the factory, then used to ship out a model T678. Factory records will confirm that sn 317533 was a 6-7/8" Mark-I that was shipped in September, 1965.

Box is in very good condition overall, with no tape or repairs.

Interesting box Fred. I have one like that with the shipper only for a 10-prefix gun. The box has the 5 1/2 blacked out but the shipper has T678 stamped on it.

Have you ever come across an auto box where the factory applied one of their homegrown black & white paper end labels to use on a box for a different model auto? I've seen plenty of cases where they did this to put a SA gun in a different SA model box, but never for an auto to another auto box.

I can't find my pic of the BKH36 box with an auto white label......came with a T678 with a muzzle brake attached.....and it came from a very reputable source.....Don Findley :lol: :lol: :lol: box with label and outer shipper also a MINT GUN.....RR.
