Love my P95 and am could see myself buying a few more semis. I am sure the LC9 and SR9C's are fine weapons. I'm just curious as to whether there were smaller frame Ruger 9MM's or 40's prior to the LC9 and SRxC's to consider as well

Not necessarily. More attracted to the novelty of older models. Came very close to a SW 4040 but it's hard to get magazines for them.

Don't be afraid to try the SW - the magazines are not that hard to find. There are several on GB right now. I have a 4013TSW and was able to buy 5 magzines for $75 from Robertson's Trading Post (current price is $20). You might want to consider the 3913 (single stack compact 9mm) or the 6906 (double stack compact 9mm). Both are great ccw guns.

I have owned both of these in the past and regret selling them. They are among the very few pistols I do regret not keeping. Look for either if you can get one at a decent price. CDNN still has new magazines for the 6906 and full size magazines for the 5906 series also work.

I'm a Ruger fan through and through ..but I couldn't pass up the S&W 908 that was at my LGS..the owner handed to me as I walked in the door...
