I found myself a Ruger birdshead but the warning label is printed on the right side of the barrel....The only side I have ever seen it printed on was the left.

Any insight on this or do I just not know enough about these guns?

Thanks guys

Photos, we NEED photos. Sounds like an odd one.
Could be one of a kind.

If it's online, it could be a reversed image. I've never seen or heard of one with the warning on the right. How would it be oriented relative to the ejector housing???

maybe it's on the right side when you're looking at the gun from the muzzle!........... (nyuk' nyuk' nyuk) :P

I dont have a serial number for it but it is a 45 lc with 3 3/4 barrel in birdshead. Honestly I thought it was reversed too because the words appear to read backwards and the ejector is opposite of normal (open on the left?) I dont know how to post pictures or I would post some :?

friend found me one where he lives.

I am going to work on it and try to get some pictures

That's a reversed image. Everything is reversed, the "Ruger" and "Vaquero" stamps as well as the serial number are all on the opposite sides. The eagle in the grip medallion is pointing the wrong way. The warning label is backwards and Ruger has never made a single action with the ejector on the wrong side ala Texas Longhorn Arms. That's an easy call.

Correct you are craigC Finally got the info on it and it was reversed.....but it confused me really good for a short moment.

Thanks guys for all the help
