1979/1980 issue from the International Handgun Metallic Silhouette Association and serial numbered as I.H.M.S.A. with numbers 001 thru 400. They were numbered in clusters of 50, separated by caliber. This particular contender is in the second group of 051 thru 100 and is caliber 45 Long Colt. It includes both the 10 inch and 14 inch bull barrels with forends. Both barrels are 45 Long Colt only and are not bored for the .410. I believe that other than special order, this was the only time the 14 inch non ribbed 45 LC barrel was available. As shown, there is one small spot on the frame void of blueing. That showed up after the one time that I actually hunted with it. Included are the original boxes. Now $1200.00 plus shipping. As usual, “I’ll take it” rules.

Thanks, Tom

I've got a smooth side Contender but it's got a regular serial # nothing special about it that I know , it has the older selector in the face of the hammer ,, I also have a (if I remember right ) 41 mag barrel with those same type of sights on it
