Kinda stoked... Just got this new mold today and I am eager to warm it up and see what kind of fodder it drops. I think this and the RCBS 270 SAA will just about cover my 45 needs up thru 454...and that is the reason for the .455...that way I can size them for any of the 45 guns in my battery. I was thinking that I would let my other molds go, but they're not hurting anything just sitting on the shelf...I guess ( hate to get rid of them). I don't have any heavier molds as I really don't have any use for the heavier bullets...but I do have a group buy 310 44 mold that ought to be here pretty soon. I probably should have gotten the 4 cav, but i shoot 44 a lot more than 45, so these 2 cav molds will produce all I will shoot, easy enough.

I'll try to run a few this weekend and post some pics.

Heck, I'm kinda stoked too.
There's not a lot of 255-.454 stuff out there to be had these days....so a guy that had the means, and wanted to make a few bucks to help support his own shooting habits, might could do perty-well by making-up a few and offering them for sale......just sayin'.

I had Miha Previc send me his version of 270 SAA to drop .455". Nominal lubed weight is 275, 280 & 290 gr depending on nose profile. I size 454"....

I ain't hard to find...

Thanks for the offer, but the heavier 275-290's aint realy what I'm after.
The closest thing I've found is Hornady's swaged 255 RNFP,and they want $50 per 200 for 'em...

.......YIKES!
