Well, I finally tested my new toy as mentioned in the above post.
Gun shot very well, a lot more accurate then me.
As I shot it the base pin would slide forward after every shot. And this is with my mild loads.
Then I noticed that the latch had very little movement if any and I could pull the pin forward without pressing the latch.
So, I called Ruger and they e-mailed me a label as she said they needed my gun right away.
I sent it to them and within two weeks I had my gun back in my hands and it works perfect now.
Just wanted to let everyone know that I am very happy and impressed with Ruger's customer service.
