RUGER SERVICE IS AWESOME

A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO, I BOUGHT A RUGER #1 ONLINE. IT HAD A CRACKED STOCK AND WAS MISSING THE REAR SIGHT ( WHICH THE SELLER HAD DISCLOSED AND I WAS OK WITH). UPON TAKING THE FRONT STOCK OFF, I NOTICED THAT THE ENTIRE EJECTOR STRUT MECHANISM WAS MISSING! I CALLED THE SELLER AND HE AGREED TO PAY FOR REPAIRS.

MY NEXT CALL WAS TO RUGER SERVICE, WHO INFORMED ME THAT I HAD TO SEND THE ENTIRE GUN TO THEM TO GET THE PARTS FITTED ETC.

I RECEIVED IT BACK TODAY WITH A NEW STOCK, ALL NEW PARTS, A TRIGGER JOB, AND CLEANED AND POLISHED,

TOTAL COST-----$0.00

IS RUGER SERVICE AWESOME OR WHAT ????[/b]

I called them yesterday and ask for a couple of Grip Screws for a Ruger P90. The nice lady that answered the phone ask me my address and said we'll send them in a couple of days. I know why I've been a Ruger fan since 1958.

I JUST SPOKE TO A LADY NAMED LINDA ON THE PHONE TO THANK THEM----SHE WAS AMAZED TO HEAR THAT SOMEONE WOULD THINK THIS WAS EXCEPTIONAL.

Sadly, some would expect that even if handed all that extra.

The seller is a dealer about 20 miles from me. when the AA deal was closed, I called him to arrange local pick up. about 1/2 hour later, he called to inform me of the cracked stock--and he offered to take $100 off the agreed price. Since the stock had been cut down, and I have an extra stock, I agreed and picked up the gun.
Today I called to tell him that Ruger had taken care of the missing parts, he OFFERED to pay my shipping. I turned him down---

Last week, the Trigger Spring Pivot Pin on my BH took a walk-about. The nice lady at CS said she would send one free. She sent two at NC saying Just in case the new one took a walk too :lol: ...................................

Its been a couple of years since I needed any Ruger service but at the time I told the lady on the phone that I wish I worked for a company that took such good care of their customers.
