For sale Ruger Security Six 4 inch blue in 150 serial number range. The gun has wear on high points,
When I purchased the gun it had Pachmayr with Ruger medallion. I was not allowed to remove grips and when I did I found a previous owner had altered the lower part of the grip (photo below). The gun is tight, bore and cylinder charge holes are shinny.
With the gun I will include Jay Scott grips for 150 serial number and Herrett Shooting Star grips for 150 serial number.
I will also include Ruger Law enforcement catalogs for 1980, 1981 and 1982, Ruger Law enforcement news letters and small Ruger note pad.
$450 including shipping from my FFL to Yous. Shipping to 47 states no shipping to California. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii maybe require additional shipping.

Was this converted to a round butt configuration by the other owner? Picture with the grip removed would be great.

Hmmm - kind of rough with that "mod" but might be a good project gun.

Seems they modified the rear portion of the grip to make it round butt but did not modify the front portion. Very easy to file the front to curve back and make it a full round butt. I have done this before and it is rather easy to do.
