Up for consideration is a near new in the box shorty of a hand cannon Redhawk Backpacker in 454 Casull/45 Colt. I purchased this off the original owner who fired exactly 6 rounds out of it in the 7 or 8ish years he owned it. It is basically a new gun in factory box with (1) 5 Star speed loader. Not too much can be said for this beast so here are the pictures. I thought I would give it a try because of its size but I'm too much of a single action guy.

I'm a fan of the 454 cartridge---have two premier grade Freedom Arms single-action revolvers and a Ruger #3 rifle rebarreled to 454 Casull. Back when I was managing gun stores, we had a good customer (a genuine rock star) who bought a couple of FA revolvers including one with a very short barrel and no ejector rod (think "Sheriff's Model")---a very lightweight gun for that cartridge... We went to the range for a fun time blasting, and he came up to me and said: "I can't hit **** with this gun!" Then he wanted me to try it and handed me five rounds of full-on factory ammo... The little gun kicked and roared---ended up straight up after each shot---a real beast of a gun---checked the target---seven yards away and all five were within a tight circle of less than two inches! He was amazed and tried to hand me another five rounds and said: "Do that again!" But I'd had about enough of that little cannon and declined...
