Hey all! I bought a Ruger Predator in 308W that uses AICS mags. I started playing around with some 308W subsonic ammo that I reloaded, and my SiCo Omega 300. It's a hoot! Sounds like an airgun. Now, it's got me thinking of modding it. 
I was thinking of getting a 11" pre-fit barrel and permanently attaching a Griffin Armament GP7 supressor so I can avoid having 2 tax stamps on one rifle. 11" will just clear the stock and give enough protrusion to have it threaded.
Looking at the cost of the replacement barrels, oof! I looked at a couple of places, and $700 seems to be the going rate for a 1:10" twist 11" and 5/8" threading. Next thought is getting a 308W Ruger American take-off barrel, and I can have it cut down, crowned and threaded. I haven't been able to locate one yet, but the search continues! If anyone happens to see one, I'd be thankful for the lead.
