Just purchased a Ruger Mk 1 Standard 22lr with 4 3/4" barrel. The serial number is 11-14XXX and according to Ruger product history was manufactured in 1972. In the original red and black box with papers with serial number on side of box in white writing. The gun has one small scuff mark on the side of the frame, appears to have been shot very little. I am familiar with the OM SA, but not much on the older semi-autos. Can anyone give me an approximate value?
Thanks
Tim

Since you already purchased it, what did you pay?

May have been better to ask value prior to buying.

I thought it was a good price. Just about any old Ruger semi or SA is worth $235. It is going to be a present to my daughter to shoot and keep.

I picked up a Mk I standard last year. 1976 mod., although no box. However, the guy I bought it from is very meticulous. You ought to see his tool chest and truck! Not a scratch on it, perfect blueing, clean as a whistle. I got it for $180. A very good deal, I think.

I got my deceased fathers for free. It was manufactured in 1954. Damn near mint condition. I carry an SR9C daily. I lover shooting the Mark and cartridges are cheap. I just need to order a couple more magazines. This weapon was rarely used but shoots like new. I needed 2 online videos to figure out how to field strip though.

Nice early '54, love it

Stay with the filed stripping and putting back together

ONCE you figure that part out it is really quite simple

I've got a Jan '73 sales receipt for one of my RST4's that lists the price as $39.75, plus sales tax.

Just to be a good guy I'll give you $45.00 for it. Don't want you making too much profit on it

Let me know I'll get a M.O in the mail right away :o

And if I go for that deal, I suppose you have a bridge for sale? Or 600 acres of prime American "Wetlands"?
