Ruger Mini 14 Scope Loctite

Hi, is Loctite blue the best way to secure a scope to the two scope blocks on the Mini? Gun tite? Woman's nail polish? I have the Ruger 1" rings. Thanks.

I don't scope Mini's, but being's how no one has jumped in yet........

I'd try 'em as-is. It could be that there won't be a problem. If there is, blue Loc-Tite has always worked good for me.

+1 If it works, don't fix it.

I've never had to use loctite on the rings, and only a couple times on the bases. With the "Ruger-type" scope mounts, I doubt it will be necessary.

If you are scared of blue, try purple.
