Ruger LC9 baseplate...flat or extension?

Pinky for the bit of extra grip.
Yeah I am up in the air. I want to be able to pocket carry it in my jeans once in a while and I thought the extension was getting in the way of extracting the gun from the pocket so I installed the flat base plate and I am finding that it really doesn't make that much difference. Right now I just think the gun looks better with the flat plate although that has nothing to do with anything really, lol.

I voted pinky extension for extra grip and control, although that is not based on actual LC9 experience with the flat base, since I only have an extended mag.
I do have a flat base on another pistol, and prefer the extension on that one.

I have several mags for my LC9, and most have the extension...and the others will as soon as I get around to buying them. I much prefer the extension, as it gives me a better grip. I haven't had any issues with carrying it with the extension.

I like the flat base. Believe it or not, it is like shooting my Smith 442. I got uesd to shooting with my little finger under the end of the grip.

Flat...after 500 rounds mixed between both baseplates (I have a mag with each attached) I honestly cannot tell any difference between them once my finger touches the trigger. Shoot comperable groups, seem to get back on target just as fast. In fact, sometimes after shooting a full magazine I don't even realize which one I had loaded.

Flat. Tried the extension for several range trips and then the flat after. Like the flat better for CCW and shoot the pistola just as well...

I have the flat plate on my mag 99% of the time. I carry everyday in an IWB holster and the flat plate imprints less and is easier and more comfortable to carry. The extention sticks out and pushes against a chair/seat and worst of all makes a tale-tale poke out in my shirt.
However, I like the "feel" of the extention better. At the range I sometimes try it to see if it helps accuracy but so far I haven't noticed any improvement. So I normally practice with the flat plate since that is how I will use it if the time ever comes. I have adjusted my grip to work with my pinky under the mag. Kinda akward at first.

Bought it because of the extended base plate, but after reading the comments here, I'll with hold my opinion until I try both.

I like the flat base plate for carry. use the extended for shooting. I shoot about as well with one as the other. The LC9 seems a little easier to shoot well than my 642.

I use the flat plate primarily for carry. At the range I really don't have a problem with using either one. The pinky extention does provide a better grip though.

several of my guns have the ability to use either. sometime back, I got used to the flat base plate and have stayed with them since. the flat are a bit more tuckable, hideable for me. when I first had a ppk/s, I HAD to have the curved. later in life, I found I could do fine with the flat and there were no problems. so I use the flat on both lc9 mags and they are OK. again, for me...
