Ruger Chronograph Data

Took two Rugers, SR9C and SR22 to the range today. Enjoyed both of them and chronographed them.

Hornady Critical Duty 135gr +P; 1046 fps avg/328 ft lbs

Double Tap 124 gr +P bonded; 1179 fps avg/382 ft lbs. I think the DT ammo uses Speer Gold Dot slugs.

Pretty decent figures in my opinion for a short (3.5") barrel.

Double Tap ammo was very consistent, brain dead me didn't let the chronograph crunch the numbers but there was only 21 fps between the high and low velocities.

SR22; Federal bulk ammo, 40gr, 982 fps avg/86 ft lbs. Don
