The cylinder in question looks like a NM (big frame) cylinder to me...so no, it won't work in an OM FT regardless of OAL.
In other words, it's too fat and the chambers are too far apart...and that's that.

looking at the gas seal (stub) on the front it is too long for an old model,newer ones are longer for the barrel "set back" in the frame.................
