Ruger 10/22 Magnum Repair

Brother has had one in his safe for a long time and recently sent it back to Ruger for ejector work. Ruger stated that they no longer repair this rifle and will offer him one in trade.

Does anyone know who does work on this rifle and if they can fix the ejector problem?

Was there ever a recall on this rifle?

Ejector or extractor? If the extractor then replace it with one from Volquartsen, same part as the standard 10/22. Extractor was a common complaint when they first came out... Ruger redesigned the bolt which didn't really help.

Thanks, I was just reading that after I Googled "Ruger 10/22 Magnum Recall", seems other people commented on the Volq. replacement extractor.

I'll let him know, I wish he would sell it to me.
