Got the Ruger letter today on a 22 Mag Single Six.

Knew what I was buying but ( especially for only $10.00 ) find it interesting to know where the gun went first.

This one was produced in September 1961 and that same month went to Schwabacher Hardware in Seattle, WA.

Yeah me too. My boxed RSS6X was not shipped until way after its 1965 production and went to what used to be a big hardware store in downtown Dallas. Sold to someone from Dallas County and stayed there its whole life until I became the SECOND owner just an hour north of DFW.
