Yip. They made just a very few convertibles way back when, but they're a VERY high dollar commodity if you ever find one for sale now. The size is better suited for .22 Long Rifle. If you want one in .22 Magnum you need to send the revolver to a good smith to have the cylinder reamed to .22 Magnum. Once you do, you'll find you definitely have a little hand full
