This Security Six was made in that short period when Ruger was using the small serial number roll die normally used on the Red Label shotgun, which represents a collector variation for the -Six DAs. Stainless .357 Mag with 6" barrel and adjustable sights. Wood grips have a chip out of the butt on the right side, and if that bothers you, it comes with a set of period Pachmayr grips as well. Pretty nice condition, a few scuffs but nothing serious. Bore looks fine and recoil shield looks like it mostly saw low power .38 loads.

$685 $670 $650 shipped FFL to FFL

The 4" is the most common, so you shouldn't have much trouble finding one of those. The 2.75" is the least common since most of those are fixed sight models.
Yes, I do see them listed occasionally but not often as in as fine of shape as yours or for that price. No doubt someone will give it a new home.

Nice pistol. If I hadn't bought one just like it, in equal condition but an 1983 model last fall I'd have called dibs. Haven't had it to the range yet but hopefully will soon. My first stainless and first .357 pistol.
