Not sure on the details OTHER THAN he stuck a loaded, cocked 1911 into the holster with his finger on the trigger while cupping the bottom of the holster with his left hand; I think it was still mounted on his belt and reached around to do the deed.
Served as an example of "STUPID" and got investigated for a Court Martial. I was the driver for the Major doing the investigation. "A" Btry, 2nd Bn, 38th Arty Bde(AD), Korea. I was with Hq Btry 38th Bde(AD) HQ on Osan AFB, in the commo section and available for such things. (Army Commo on the newest AFB in Korea with Dial phones :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :wink: :wink: :mrgreen: )
