I have them on a number of my tang safety 77 RS's. Gradually putting them on all of them as money allows. They return to zero for me. I really like them. The only problems is that they are a bit heavy and if you torque them tight with your hands and they sit a year or so, you might need something stiffer than your fingers to get them loose. I have a couple rifles that I use more than one scope on. For example, my 22250 does duty for serious groundhog hunting and for predator hunting, a 6-24 and a 3x9 get switched out fall and spring. Those QD's work nicely for that.
