I'm looking at a new Vaquero with the two cylinders. They only make it with the standard grip frame. If I purchase it, could I purchase a Bisley grip frame and hammer to make it a Bisley model?

Absolutely! You can add the Bisley trigger as WELL. If you buy the Bisley frame new, it will need to be fitted to the mainframe, it's supplied oversize and in the white. Then get it blued if it's for a blue gun. So if you find one used, you'll save a few dollars, it'll save a lot of work and fit close enough, and you won't have to have it blued.

If you have a blue gun and get a stainless Bisley grip, that saves bluing cost and looks good too. And you can defray the cost if you sell the original standard grip frame to me. I need one.

There is also an issue with the hammer and trigger and whether there is a lock in the grip or not and getting grips. It would probably be easier and cheaper to buy a Bisley Vaquero and have another cylinder fitted to the gun. :D :D

He wrote "new Vaquero" with a small case letter n. I read that to mean it's a new gun. New, as in not previously used.
What say ye, whitesquirrel44?
