progress report on BKH3 #148....all scratched up with pics

Well I was going to have Mike copy BKH3 # 100 but when I looked at the pics we both found it rather plain looking.....I decided to give him free reign with the work and think he nailed it.....RR.

He truly did nail it! It's a very tasteful pattern and layout including the hammer and where he put his signature! Are you going with a blue and case hardened finish? I think it looks so much richer than the cap gun look with nickel plating. Or the satin, antiqued nickel really shows off the engraving.

One thought; a New Vaquero XR3 steel grip frame, the newest one without the lock. They come in the white so it can be fitted to the original grips. But ivory with the blue gun would be spectacular.
